Start with our Beautiful Beginnings program by meeting with us sometime between the 15th and 20th week of your pregnancy. By calling 901-227-9873, you can schedule a tour of our facility, complete your pre-admission paperwork and meet our nurses and maternity coordinators. Our highly skilled nurses and maternity coordinators work to ensure your questions and/or concerns are addressed anytime throughout your pregnancy.

Breastfeeding
Certified lactation consultants assist new moms with their breastfeeding questions through one-on-one consultation sessions or Baptist’s Breastfeeding Resource Center. For more information, call 901-227-9620.
Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
At the NICU, we treat babies who are born premature or have complications, such as heart defects or underdeveloped lungs. More than 10% of all babies born at the Women's Hospital are cared for in the NICU. The dedicated staff of nurses, neonatologists and pediatric sub-specialist are passionate about the quality, education and development of every baby. The continuing care unit provides parents with additional training before their babies go home.
Many parents with babies here cannot afford the highly specialized care, so contributions are especially important for this unit. For more information about how you can contribute to the NICU, contact the Baptist Memorial Health Care Foundation at 901-227-7123.
