Baptist Carroll County Behavioral Health is an outpatient therapeutic program for adults 18 years and older and seniors who need behavioral health intervention and support through individual therapy, group therapy and medication management. Our behavioral health professionals focus on evidence-based practices to help patients reach the most favorable treatment outcomes possible for conditions including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia and other psychotic conditions.

Our highly qualified multidisciplinary team, which includes a board-certified psychiatrist; a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner; and licensed, masters-level social workers, is trained to diagnose and treat a variety of mental and behavioral health issues.

Our team works quickly to get an accurate assessment of your current mental well-being through an in-depth evaluation that explores current and historic symptoms, social and family history, co-occurring medical conditions, previous treatments, past medications and developmental stages.

Comprehensive treatment plans

Working collaboratively with you, our team of mental health experts creates a customized, comprehensive treatment plan that addresses mutually established treatment goals, target symptoms and expected outcomes. The treatment plan encompasses all aspects of care, including family participation, psychotropic medications, collaboration with primary care providers, pertinent diagnostic studies for diagnoses and monitoring, as well as assessment tools to measure the severity of symptoms and quantify outcomes. Your treatment plan can include one or all of the following:
