Heart and Vascular Services
At Baptist Golden Triangle, we combine the advanced heart care services found in larger metropolitan areas with a personalized level of dignity, respect and compassion that sets our community-based hospital apart. We offer a full range of cardiac diagnostic services to identify and treat heart disease.
Our cardiac teams are consistently recognized by the American Heart Association for meeting and exceeding national quality improvement measures for the treatment of patients who experience a ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction or STEMI, the most deadly type of heart attack caused by a complete blockage of blood flow to the heart that requires timely treatment. We received the American College of Cardiology’s NCDR ACTION Registry Platinum Performance Achievement Award for 2017 and were one of only 193 hospitals nationwide to receive the honor. The award recognizes Baptist Golden Triangle’s commitment and success in implementing a higher standard of care for heart attack patients.
Our invasive cardiology services include cardiovascular surgery, cardiac catheterization in two dedicated heart catheterization labs; percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTCA) and coronary stents, pacemaker implantation, automatic implantable cardioverter defibrillator (AICD) implantation, ASD/PFO closure.
Noninvasive cardiology services include echocardiography, stress testing, nuclear stress testing, Holter monitoring/scanning, transesophageal echocardiography, HeartScore, diagnostic, and pulmonary rehabilitation.
Our Cardiac Rehabilitation program is certified by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR). The program works to help people who have cardiovascular illnesses or conditions such as coronary artery disease, heart attack, coronary artery bypass surgery, as well as people who have had angioplasties, stents, heart valve surgery or repair and heart transplants.
