-
Breast Ultrasound to evaluate breast abnormalities and guide certain procedures
-
Stereotactic Breast Biopsy for minimally invasive tissue sampling and diagnosis
-

Whether you're scheduling your annual mammogram, seeking answers after an abnormal screening or exploring your breast cancer risk, our team is here to provide expert breast care close to home.
We recommend a three-step approach to breast cancer screening and prevention for those who do not have an increased risk for the disease:
1. Monthly breast self-exams beginning at age 20
2. Yearly clinical breast exams for women age 40 and older, and at least every three years for women ages 20 to 40
3. Yearly mammograms for all women older than age 40
If you have a personal or family history of breast cancer or have previously had abnormal mammograms, your recommended screening schedule may begin earlier and occur more frequently. Your doctor or health care team will provide guidelines appropriate for you.
Conveniently located in Starkville, we’re here for you to help ensure you get the breast health care you need close to home.
