Overview

Built in 1964 by Tipton County, the hospital joined Baptist Memorial Health Care Corporation in 1981, making it the first hospital in the Baptist system outside Memphis. Today, an experienced medical staff provides high-quality health care to the community in this 100-bed facility.

Staff physicians provide a wide variety of care services such as internal medicine, emergency medicine, oncology, pediatrics, pathology, orthopedics, radiology and obstetrics and gynecology. Other services provided by telehealth physicians include neurology, addiction medicine, psychiatry and infectious diseases. For added convenience for both patients and providers, many Baptist Tipton physicians practice in the two medical office buildings adjacent to the hospital.
