  • Baptist Memorial Health Care earned Lifeblood’s Lifesaver of the Year award for collecting the most blood and platelet donations in a calendar year.

  • In 2014, Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis was named one of Becker's Hospital Review's "100 Great Hospitals in America."

Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle

  • In 2014, Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle was named the Mississippi Hospital of the Year by the Mississippi Nurses Association for hospitals with more than 100 beds.

Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City

  • In 2014, Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City’s hospice was named a 2014 HOSPICE HONORS™ Elite recipient. Hospice Honors™ is a prestigious, annual honor recognizing the hospices that continuously provide the highest level of satisfaction through their care as measured from the caregiver’s point of view.

2013

Baptist Memorial Health Care

  • Baptist Memorial Health Care was named one of the nation’s top community outreach health care organizations in the 2013 Hospital Charitable Services Awards.
  • In 2013, seven Baptist Memorial hospitals – Baptist Booneville, Baptist Collierville, Baptist Memphis, Baptist Rehab-Germantown, Baptist Restorative Care Hospital, Baptist Union City and Baptist Union County – received Press Ganey awards for patient satisfaction, employee engagement, physician engagement or clinical quality.
  • In 2013, The Commission on Cancer awarded the academic cancer program of Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis, Baptist Memorial Hospital for Women and Baptist Memorial Hospital-Collierville full accreditation with commendation for three years.
  • In 2013, Baptist Booneville, Baptist Collierville, Baptist Golden Triangle, Baptist Huntingdon, Baptist Memphis, Baptist North Mississippi, Baptist Women’s Hospital, Baptist Union City, and Union County were named a Joint Commission Top Performer on Key Quality Measures®.
  • In 2013, the Baptist Cancer Center received a national research award from the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute.

  • In 2013, Baptist Memphis’ blood bank won the Greater Memphis Association of Blood Bankers’ Blood Bank of the Year award.

  • In 2013, Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle was given a 2013 VHA Leadership for Clinical Excellence award.

NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital

  • In 2013, NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital received the HealthGrades Outstanding Patient Experience Award for the fifth year in a row and was recognized as being in the top 5 percent of hospitals in the nation for four years in a row.
  • In 2013, NEA Baptist Hospital received the American Heart Association’s Mission: Lifeline® Bronze Quality Achievement Award.

Baptist Rehabilitation Germantown

  • Baptist Rehabilitation-Germantown received the Press Ganey 2013 Guardian of Excellence Award for physician engagement.
  • In 2013, the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities accredited 14 of Baptist Rehab-Germantown’s programs.

  • Baptist Trinity Home Care & Hospice was named among the 2009 HomeCare Elite™, a compilation of the top-performing home health agencies in the United States.

  • HealthGrades Awards LogoFor the 15th year in a row, Baptist Memphis won a Consumer Choice Award because a majority of Memphis-area residents named the facility as their hospital of choice in a national survey.
  • Earned the HealthGrades Distinguished Hospital for Clinical Excellence Award™, putting it among the top 5 percent of hospitals in the nation for overall quality.
  • HealthGrades ranked Baptist Memphis’ women’s care among the top 5 percent in the nation.
  • VHA recognized Baptist Memphis as the nation’s leading performer in glucose control. Baptist Memphis is the first of VHA’s 1,400 member hospitals to be used as a blueprint for glucose control and will participate in a clinical education series for other hospitals to learn about its control techniques.

Baptist Memorial Health Care

  • From 2002-2009, Verispan named Baptist one of the Top 100 Integrated Health Care Networks.
  • The Baptist Women’s Health Center was recognized as an American College of Radiology-accredited center of excellence in mammograms.
  • Baptist Memorial Health Care was the highest ranking Mid-South health care organization on SDI’s list of the Top 100 Integrated Health Networks. Baptist was ranked 39 on the list, which was published in Modern Healthcare Magazine.

  • HealthGrades Awards LogoFor the 14th time in a row, Baptist Memphis won a Consumer Choice award because a majority of Memphis-area residents named the facility as their hospital of choice in a national survey.

  • Earned the second consectutive HealthGrades Distinguished Hospital for Clinical Excellence Award™, putting it among the top 5 percent of hospitals in the nation for overall quality.

  • The Baptist DeSoto inpatient rehabilitation program ranked in the top 1 percent in the nation for quality in a report based on 2009 performance outcomes.
