The Emergency Department at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our emergency room team sees more than 20,000 patients each year, supported by a full array of emergency room services, including trauma treatment, Air Evac Lifeteam service, cardiac care, and emergency psychiatric services.
Our 13,000-square-foot cancer center combines high quality equipment with experienced physicians, nurses, therapists and other health care professionals. Among the technology used at the center is a CT simulator, a 3D treatment planning system and a high performance, computer-driven linear accelerator.
A hospitalist is a physician who specializes in and focuses on patients’ hospital care from the time of admission until their discharge as a surrogate for primary care physicians. The hospitalist coordinates all specialist care and testing while keeping you, your personal physician and your family informed about your condition at any time—day or night.
Services include CT angiography, mammography, stereotactic biopsies, MRI, ultrasound, X-ray, nuclear medicine, coronary calcium scoring, heart catheterization, peripheral arteriogram and peripheral angioplasty/stent procedures.
