Baptist Advanced Practice Provider Excellence Award
Honoring APP excellence throughout Baptist Memorial Hospitals and Baptist Medical Group
Nominations are open for the 2026 Baptist Advanced Practice Provider Excellence Award! The 2026 nominations will be May 11 to July 17; this is the window when APP award nominations can be made. Nomination deadline is July 17, 2026.
This year Baptist Memorial Hospitals and Baptist Medical Group will present the annual Advanced Practice Provider Excellence Award. Every year, this award will be presented to an Advanced Practice Provider who demonstrates excellence in collaborative care and has made noteworthy contributions to promote patient wellness. The 2026 winners will be announced at the APP Conference on September 18.
Who's eligible?
Any Advanced Practice Provider with one or more years of service or affiliation with Baptist Medical Group, Baptist Memorial Hospitals or Baptist Health Sciences University, including:
- Nurse Practitioners (NP)
- Certified Nurse Midwives (CNM)
- Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNS)
- Certified Registration Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA)
- Physician Assistants (PA)
Who can submit a nomination?
Any Baptist team member can submit a nomination for the Baptist APP Excellence Award using the form below . The deadline for nominations for the 2026 award is Friday, July 17.
How are nominees evaluated?
Nominees will be judged on the following criteria:
- Exceptional clinical knowledge
- Exemplary relationships with both patients and team members
- Unwavering commitment to high-quality care for all patients
- Commitment to the APP profession
Nominees should also distinguish themselves through exceptional contribution in one of the following areas. Contributions to multiple areas will improve a nominee’s chances:
- Quality or process improvement
- Patient care innovation
- Trainee teaching
- Mentorship
- Community service
- Team-building
