Vishad Kumar, MD

Dr. Vishad Kumar is a board-certified neurologist at Semmes-Murphey, specializing in the treatment of general neurology, DBS programming, Botox administration for migraines, spasticity & dystonia, treatment of dementia, multiple sclerosis, and Parkinson's disease. He also serves as a clinical assistant professor at UTHSC in Memphis. Dr. Kumar earned a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), a Medical Doctorate in Internal Medicine, and a Doctorate in Neurology from King George's Medical College at Lucknow University in Lucknow, India. After residency training in India, he completed a three-year residency in neurology and one-year internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Tennessee in Memphis.
