What can a patient expect when they have you as a doctor?

Patients can expect a cardiologist who is competent and caring. I will listen to my patients and their families and explain options and recommendations. I will answer questions. My staff is friendly and we all want the best for our patients.

What is the most important factor in a doctor patient relationship and why?

The most important factor is trust. A doctor trusts his patients to be honest in sharing their symptoms and in expressing their concerns and questions. A patient needs to trust their doctor to have their best interests in everything he does, to be forthright and care about them as a person.

What hobbies or activities do you enjoy when you're not working?

I enjoy being with my family and friends, fishing, hiking and canoeing.

What about your line of work do you find the most rewarding and why?

The most rewarding part is developing a relationship with a patient and helping them return to family, home and work.
