What can a patient expect when they have you as a doctor?

Patients can expect a thoughtful, balanced approach to health issues. I’ll do my best to find a solution that works for you.

What is the most important factor in a doctor patient relationship and why?

Honest, two-way communication between the doctor and the patient is the foundation for a good doctor-patient relationship. I’m not a mind reader, and I don’t think my patients are either. Talking about your pulmonary issues and our plan for your care is the way to move forward.

What hobbies or activities do you enjoy when you're not working?

I enjoy photography and fly-fishing.

What about your line of work do you find the most rewarding and why?

I can’t always make my patients’ medical problems go away. However, helping my patients live successfully with their lung problems and improving their quality of life is tremendously satisfying.
