What can a patient expect when they have you as a doctor?

A sympathetic ear and honest advice. I feel strongly that open communication between me and my patients is integral to arriving at the best possible outcome.

What is the most important factor in a doctor patient relationship and why?

Trust. For successful care, the physician needs to be able to trust what the patient tells them and the patient needs to trust the physician will steer them in the right direction.

What hobbies or activities do you enjoy when you're not working?

I enjoy vegetable gardening, cooking, exercise and travel.

What about your line of work do you find the most rewarding and why?

Building relationships with patients and broadening my knowledge. I learn something new every day on many subjects, not just medicine.
