What can a patient expect when they have you as a doctor?

Patients can expect to be treated like a member of their own family was being treated. I will be empathetic and genuinely concerned with your well-being.

What is the most important factor in a doctor patient relationship and why?

The most important factor is being able to communicate with the patient in the way the patient can understand. This is important as it is the basis with which the patient will understand and carry out instructions to improve his/her overall health.

What hobbies or activities do you enjoy when you're not working?

I enjoy running 5K races

What about your line of work do you find the most rewarding and why?

The most rewarding part is seeing patients come back year after year not having any further events (like stroke or heart attack) since their risk factors are being controlled. Remember, cardiovascular disease is not a cancer – it is predominantly preventable.
