Meet The Doctor

What can a patient expect when they have you as a doctor?

That I will care for each patient as I would want a member of my family cared for. That I will listen. That I will explain what is happening to the best of my ability. That I will admit when I do not know the answer.

What is the most important factor in a doctor-patient relationship and why?

Trust. It is the foundation of the relationship. To enter the operating room together, the patient and surgeon must trust each other.

What hobbies or activities do you enjoy when you're not working?

Spending time with my husband and children; reading; watching college football; exercise.

What about your line of work do you find the most rewarding and why?

I find helping women to understand and choose amongst their breast cancer treatment options to be the most challenging and the most rewarding.
