UnitedHealthcare Awards Dr. Jeffrey LeDuff the United Hero Award for Outstanding Patient Experience

JACKSON, Miss., March 12, 2025 – Dr. Jeffrey LeDuff, an internist with Baptist Premier, earned the United Hero Award for achieving high patient experience scores.

The award recognizes experts in patient experience who are committed to delivering superior quality, safety and service to the patients and families they serve.

“I am so grateful to receive the United Hero Award,” said LeDuff. “I always try to make sure my patients feel heard. Before I end every visit, I ask if they have any questions or concerns. I really take time to get to know my patients and their families.”

Through the United Hero Award, UnitedHealthcare recognizes health care professionals who have achieved target scores in the following three categories of patient experience, which reflect the knowledge, compassion and excellence associated with transforming the patient experience:

  • Care coordination
  • Doctor-patient conversations
