Baptist Carroll County recognized for achieving excellent outcomes
HUNTINGDON, Tenn., Dec. 3, 2025– The Chartis Center for Rural Health has awarded Baptist Memorial Hospital-Carroll County the 2025 Performance Leadership Award for excellence in Outcomes.
The Performance Leadership Awards Program recognizes top quartile performance (e.g., 75th percentile or above) among rural hospitals in Quality, Outcomes and/or Patient Perspective. These groups serve as a benchmark for other rural facilities and provide a blueprint for successfully navigating health care challenges.
It is an honor to be recognized by Chartis Center for Rural Health as a leader for health care excellence and outcomes. The 2025 Performance Leadership Award highlights the quality of our staff and their commitment to delivering exceptional care for Carroll County.
The Performance Leadership Awards Program is based on the results of the Chartis Rural Hospital Performance INDEX, a comprehensive and objective framework for assessing how rural hospitals are performing. INDEX benchmarks are relied upon by rural hospitals, health systems with rural footprints, hospital associations and state offices of rural health to measure performance across multiple areas that affect hospital operations and finance.

Baptist Memorial Hospital-Carroll County is a 70-bed facility in Huntingdon, Tennessee, that provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient medical care to West Tennessee in a variety of specialized areas, including cardiac care, pediatrics, general surgery, physical therapy and palliative care, among others.
