Baptist Anderson Regional Medical Center earns seventh consecutive platinum award for top-quality heart care
MERIDIAN, Miss., July 18, 2025– The American College of Cardiology has awarded Baptist Anderson Regional Medical Center the National Cardiovascular Data Registry Chest Pain ̶ MI Registry Platinum Performance Achievement Award for 2025.
The award recognizes Baptist Anderson’s commitment and success in implementing a higher standard of care for heart attack patients according to the American College of Cardiology/American Heart Association. Recognized hospitals have demonstrated sustained, top-level performance in quality of care and adherence to guideline recommendations.

The National Cardiovascular Data Chest Pain ̶ MI Registry empowers health care provider teams to consistently treat heart attack patients according to the most current, science-based guidelines and establishes a national standard for understanding and improving the quality, safety and outcomes of care provided for patients with coronary artery disease, specifically high-risk heart attack patients.
