Five Baptist Memorial hospitals awarded 'A' Hospital Safety Grade
MEMPHIS, Tenn., June 14, 2026 – The Leapfrog Group, a nonprofit healthcare watchdog focused on patient safety, awarded “A” Hospital Safety Grades to five Baptist Memorial hospitals for their commitment to patient safety and quality care.
The following Baptist Memorial hospitals earned A’s for spring 2026:
● Baptist Memorial Hospital-Carroll County in Huntingdon, Tennessee
● Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle in Columbus, Mississippi
● Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford, Mississippi
● Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City in Union City, Tennessee
● Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union County in New Albany, Mississippi

Leapfrog assigns an “A,” “B,” “C,” “D” or “F” grade to general hospitals across the country using evidence-based measures of patient safety focused exclusively on errors, accidents, injuries and infections.
The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade stands as the only hospital ratings program focused solely on how safe hospitals are for patients. This program is peer-reviewed, fully transparent and free to the public, and grades are updated biannually in the fall and spring.
Founded in 2000 by large employers and other purchasers, The Leapfrog Group is a national nonprofit driving a movement for giant leaps for patient safety.
