Baptist Union County to host back-to-school health fair
Free vaccines will be provided for students up to age 18
New Albany, Miss., July 17, 2026– Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union County will host a back-to school health fair for children 12 years old and younger on July 25 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the hospital’s parking lot at 200 Highway 30 West.
The health fair, which is an annual event, will feature more than 40 exhibitors on a variety of topics, including all-terrain vehicle safety, and provide medical, dental and vision clinics. Community resource information and health tips will also be available, and attendees will have the opportunity tour emergency response vehicles. The Mississippi Department of Health will administer free vaccines for children up to 18 years old. Attendees will also receive free backpacks filled with school supplies on a first-come, first-served basis.
