Therapies are tailored to meet each patient’s individual needs. Our health care providers specialize in wound care and employ advanced therapies proven to address complicated cases. Advanced testing is used to identify the underlying cause of various wounds.
Therapies may include:
- Application of growth factors
- Vacuum assisted closure
- Individualized dressing changes incorporating high-tech supplies
Help for Families
While visiting the Wound Care Center, patients and family members are given instructions about correct wound care and the prevention of new injuries.
We take a team approach, engaging the patient and family members. We also refer to other specialists or services such as orthotics, physical therapy, dietitians, orthopedic surgeons, podiatrists and plastic surgeons.
