As the flagship hospital of Baptist's 15 hospitals across the Mid-South, Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis provides some of the most advanced care available in the region. But this smart medicine comes with a huge dose of compassionate care from the hospital's colleagues and physicians, who give back to the community in many ways. Providing free health education, information and screenings is a vital part of the hospital's focus in the community. Our colleagues actively support Baptist's community partnership events and activities. From food and book drives to collecting toys for underprivileged children during the holidays, the folks at Baptist extend a hand where needed most.
Baptist Memphis places tremendous value on investing time and resources into cultivating the ongoing partnership with our adopt-a-school, Denver Elementary School, in the Frayser community. Hundreds of Baptist Memphis colleagues have expressed their commitment and extended their support through the Christmas Angel Project, which sponsors less fortunate families at Denver Elementary. Other special projects include preparing Thanksgiving baskets for school families, as well as coordinating uniform, book and coat drives throughout the year.
