Students at the Shrine School enjoy a story read by one of the many dedicated Baptist employees who volunteer their time to enhance literacy.

Baptist colleagues' support for community initiatives goes beyond our hospitals. For instance, Baptist Trinity Home Care & Hospice colleagues take care right into patients' and families' homes each day. The not-for-profit home care and hospice arm of Baptist Memorial Health Care connects directly with numerous seniors in our communities.

Baptist Trinity's community impact is immeasurable, yet extremely valuable. For instance, the Baptist Trinity family is totally immersed in the support of our adopt-a-school activities at the Shrine School, a Memphis City School that provides high-quality education for students with multiple disabilities and special needs. Baptist Trinity colleagues committed approximately 310 hours to the school this year.

In addition, colleagues offered free weekly grief support programs for teens, young adults, adults and families. Our phenomenal colleagues committed more than 350 hours of service to hundreds of bereaved people across the community. We also provided blood pressure and wellness screenings at 12 different senior centers and retirement communities involving seven colleagues who dedicated 150 hours to serve more than 2,500 seniors.
