| In 2004, the Baptist College of Health Sciences partnered with Christ Community Health Services to provide primary and acute health care to homeless individuals through a mobile health clinic set up in a van. The clinic operates two days per week from the site of two homeless service provider agencies in Midtown Memphis. In its first year of operation, the mobile clinic program recorded 1,455 patient visits, and these continue to grow. |

"When the school clothes were delivered, you could see how the mothers were so touched and awestruck...we are forever grateful for your continued assistance and support to our children."

The Baptist College of Health Sciences is another Baptist entity that often goes unnoticed in the community, but one that serves numerous community needs. The College faculty and staff take pride in providing an exceptional educational experience based upon Christian principles that prepares qualified health care practitioners.
The HOPE Health Center medical van serves as one of the College's primary community activities, and it is one that serves a great need in inner city Memphis. HOPE, in partnership with Christ Community Health Services, provides basic health care to the homeless in Memphis.
