As part of Baptist's commitment to support charitable organizations, Baptist Memorial Health Care was a sponsor of the 2004 Race for the Cure®. Proceeds from the race go to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation to raise funds for breast cancer research. In an effort to encourage awareness and suppport of the event, colleagues at the Baptist Memorial Hospital for Women invited residents along the race route to decorate their yards pink to support this year's race participants.
