On Saturday, April 16, 2005, Baptist held its annual Girls’ Day Out event at each of three locations in the Mid-South – Baptist Memorial Hospital for Women, Baptist Memorial Hospital-Collierville and Southaven's Multipurpose Arena (hosted by Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto). Hospital staff provided free health screenings and educational exhibits for more than 1,000 women. The event also included a free, interactive “Sweating in the Spirit” workout with renowned fitness expert Donna Richardson at Baptist Women’s Hospital.
