Baptist Tipton earns Top Improver Award from Press Ganey

Memphis, Tenn - Baptist Memorial Hospital-Tipton was recently named a recipient of Press Ganey’s 2011 Top Improver Award for Ambulatory Services.  

The hospital received the distinction at Press Ganey’s National Client Conference in Dallas the week of Nov. 13 through Nov. 15.

Baptist Tipton is one of only 20 facilities in the nation received the distinction in 2011. Recipients of the award showed continuous improvement and received an improvement rank of 95 or above for at least three of four quarters.  

The ambulatory services department formed a team – Satisfaction Teams at Tipton – to help address the hospital’s patient satisfaction needs and worked to improve communication and efficiency.  

“Our ambulatory services department works extremely hard to provide the best possible care to our patients every day,” said Skipper Bondurant, administrator and CEO for Baptist Tipton. “I am very proud of the recognition and congratulate our ambulatory services colleagues on a job well done.” 

For more than 25 years, Press Ganey has worked with more than 10,000 nationwide health care organizations to improve clinical and business outcomes. Through patient satisfaction survey results, leadership teams are available to evaluate satisfaction in many health care settings and use Press Ganey’s tools and tactics to enhance or address areas of patient concern.
