Baptist’s Creative Services Division Wins National Design Awards

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Baptist Memorial Health Care's creative services team recently won six American Inhouse Design Awards.

More than 4,000 entries were received from around the country, and only 15 percent were recognized with Award of Excellence Certificates. The entries were judged on creativity and design.

"Please join me in congratulating the creative services team for their efforts," said Jennifer Massey, creative services manager. "These awards are especially meaningful to the artists as they are judged alongside similar design teams from across the nation."

The winning pieces will be featured in the July issue of Graphic Design USA magazine and will be published in the 250-page American Inhouse Awards Design Annual, which nearly 100,000 industry leaders will see.

According to Massey, the American Inhouse Design Awards provides a unique opportunity for in house designers to be recognized for their talents, the special challenges they face, and their contributions to their businesses and institutions.

Designer Jil Foutch received three awards: one for her recruitment brochure for the Baptist College of Health Sciences, one for the Baptist Trinity Hospice House's grand opening invitation, and one for her Baptist College of Health Sciences alumni reunion invitation.

Baptist's Community Report brochure earned Richard Fudge an award, and Jennifer Massey received two awards: one for the 25th anniversary edition of the Baptist Memorial Health Care Foundation's Legacy magazine and one for her retired colleague reunion invitation for the Baptist Foundation.

One of the largest not-for-profit health care systems in the United States, Baptist Memorial Health Care offers a full continuum of care to communities throughout the Mid-South. The Baptist system, which consistently ranks among the top integrated health care networks in the nation, comprises 14 affiliate hospitals in West Tennessee, North Mississippi and East Arkansas; more than 4,000 affiliated physicians; a physician management group; home, hospice and psychiatric care; minor medical centers and clinics; a network of surgery, rehabilitation and other outpatient centers; and an education system highlighted by the Baptist College of Health Sciences.
