Baptist Memorial Hospital for Women to Offer Free Community Seminars in April

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Baptist Memorial Hospital for Women, located at 6225 Humphreys Blvd., will host free community seminars in the hospital's educational classrooms in April.

The Dr. Sam P. Patterson Library Seminar Series addresses women's health and wellness issues--from heart disease to the benefits of massage therapy. Reservations are required and can be made Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., by calling 800-4-BAPTIST or 901-227-8478.

Aging in Place: Home Modifications and Universal Design

Wednesday, April 7, noon to 1 p.m.

This seminar will focus on how home modifications can make it easier for newly discharged hospital and skilled nursing facility patients to return home comfortably. Each attendee will receive a self-assessment home checklist.
