Baptist Memorial Hospitals Welcome New Managers and Directors

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Baptist Memorial hospitals recently hired or promoted several colleagues to manager or director positions.

  • Priscilla Jones is the new manager of transportation at Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto. Jones joined Baptist nine years ago as a customer service representative and has been a customer service lead coordinator since 2002.
  • Yvette Anderson is now the nurse manager for the orthopedic and oncology unit at Baptist DeSoto. Prior to joining Baptist, she served as an emergency department director at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville, Ark.
  • Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis recently promoted Matthew Dane to nurse manager in surgery. A Baptist colleague since 2002, Dane has previously served as a health care technician, neurology staff nurse and a circulating nurse in the operating room.
  • Heather Wynne was recently promoted to clinical supervisor at Baptist Trinity Home Care & Hospice. Prior to accepting the position, she worked as a hospice nurse.
  • Steve Edmonds is the new director of pastoral care at Baptist DeSoto. Edmonds has served in a variety of pastoral care positions since joining Baptist, including director of pastoral care for Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi and market leader for pastoral care for the West Tennessee and East Arkansas markets. He is an ordained minister in the Southern Baptist Convention and has more than 20 years of ministry experience.
  • Baptist DeSoto recently named Wyatt Reynolds senior retail manager of the Tower Café. Before joining Baptist, he served as a sous chef and retail manager for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and a corporate trainer for Firebird's Rocky Mountain Grill.
  • Cheryl Berry has been named director of nursing at Baptist DeSoto. Areas she will be overseeing in this position include the patient flow office, intern program, float pool and nursing staff development. She has been a Baptist colleague for 14 years.
  • Shannon Fristensky is now the manager of physician and guest relations at Baptist Memorial Hospital for Women. She joined Baptist in 2009 and worked in outpatient marketing for Baptist Women's Hospital and the Women's Health Center.
