MEMPHIS, Tenn., Oct. 5, 2009 – Baptist Memorial hospitals recently hired or promoted several colleagues to manager or director positions.
- Megan Dress is the new clinic manager for Baptist Minor Medical Center in Olive Branch, Miss. Prior to joining Baptist, she served as the hospital development coordinator and branch supervisor for the Mid-South Tissue Bank in Memphis.
- Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis recently appointed John Smith as director of pharmacy. Before coming to Baptist, he served as the director of pharmacy for Highlands Medical Center in Scottsboro, Ala.
- Shauna Henry was named the manager of operations and informatics at the Women’s Health Center at Baptist Memorial Hospital for Women. She has been a Baptist colleague since 2000 and has served as the manager of teleservices at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis and director of admissions and outpatient testing at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle.
- Mary Ruth Kriger was recently named laboratory director at Baptist Memorial Hospital for Women. A Baptist colleague for 26 years, Kriger has previously served as a medical technologist and senior technologist at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Medical Center. She has been with the Baptist Women’s Hospital since its opening, serving as a senior technologist and interim laboratory manager.
