SOUTHAVEN, Miss., Aug. 18, 2009 – Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto is offering a free class on car seat safety every month beginning Friday, Oct. 2, from 10 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
The class meets on the first Friday of every month in the Women’s Pavilion classroom inside Baptist DeSoto. Participants are asked to bring their child’s vehicle restraint along with its instructions to the class.
“Our car seat safety class educates participants on how to use the proper restraints for children along with how to correctly install them inside the vehicle,” said Angie Crow, head nurse in Baptist DeSoto’s Women’s Pavilion. “We are excited to offer this free class to the community because their safety and health remains our priority.”
To register for the car seat safety class, please call 662-772-3296.
