MEMPHIS, Tenn., Aug. 5, 2009- Baptist Memorial Hospital for Women, located at 6225 Humphreys Blvd., will host a free community seminar in the hospital’s educational classrooms in August.
The Dr. Sam P. Patterson Library Seminar Series addresses women’s health and wellness issues – from heart disease to the benefits of massage therapy.

The Baptist Women’s Health Center, a full-service mammography center, relocated Aug. 10. A panel of experts, including a radiologist, genetic counselor specializing in cancer genetics and a registered nurse who specializes in breast cancer care will lead an open forum to discuss breast health and help audience members understand what it means to be at high-risk of developing breast cancer. Plus, the panel will discuss the new, patient-friendly features the newly designed Women’s Health Center boasts.
