The list was part of Data Advantage’s Hospital Value Index™ study, the first comprehensive scorecard measuring the value of care provided by U.S. hospitals. The new measure studied more than 3,000 general acute-care hospitals in America. The hospitals in the study were scored on a 100-point scale and judged on quality, affordability and efficiency and patient satisfaction.
