COLLIERVILLE, Tenn., May 6, 2009 – Baptist Memorial Hospital-Collierville will offer a SuperSitter course for preteens and teens on Wednesday, June 3, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The course will cover baby-sitting issues, including safety, first aid and appropriate play and discipline. The course is open to both boys and girls, ages 11 and older.
Each participant will receive a folder with guidelines for baby-sitting, as well as instructions for making a first aid kit. Dolls also will be available for hands-on training. A certified childbirth and family education instructor will teach the course, which costs $50.
