Memphis, Tenn., Feb. 14, 2002 - Baptist Memorial Hospital for Women, located at 6225 Humphreys Blvd., will offer free community seminars in the hospital’s educational classrooms during the month of March.

The seminars are part of the Dr. Sam P. Patterson Library Seminar Series, which addresses health and wellness issues from stress to reducing the risk of heart disease. Reservations are required and can be made 24 hours a day by calling 1-800-4-BAPTIST or (901) 227-8478.

In this interactive session, learn how to use stretch bands and inflated balls to strengthen arms, legs and trunk.

“Car Care 101”

This seminar is designed to teach the basics of car care. Learn about the main systems of the car, how to check car parts that need regular maintenance and when to replace each part. After the lecture, the facilitator will take the group outside to check out a car.
