Memphis, Tenn., Jan. 6, 2003 - Baptist Memorial Hospital-Collierville welcomed its first baby on Friday, Jan. 3 at 12:19 p.m.

“I look forward to the birth of the first baby every year,” said Rick Lassiter, administrator and CEO of Baptist Collierville. “The start of a new life fills you with hope and joy, and serves as a reminder of how miraculous life is. I can’t think of a better way to start the year.”

Baptist Memorial Hospital-Collierville is a 60-bed hospital offering acute care, an intensive care unit, labor and delivery and outpatient services. It also has a full-service, 24-hour emergency department. For more information about Baptist Collierville, please call (901) 861-9410.
