Memphis, Tenn., Sept. 4, 2002 - Baptist Memorial Hospital-Collierville recently promoted Jimmy Drumwright to chief nursing officer.
Previously, Drumwright was a nurse manager at Baptist Collierville, supervising the emergency department, intensive care unit and acute care floor. He has been with Baptist for 10 years and helped orchestrate the opening of
Baptist Collierville in 1999.
Last May, Drumwright was honored at Baptist Memorial’s “Best Nurses at Baptist” luncheon for leadership excellence. He was selected from among more than 200 nurses in Baptist’s 17 hospitals for this recognition.
“With his dedication and extensive experience, Jimmy is an excellent person for this position,” said Rick Lassiter, administrator and CEO of Baptist Memorial Hospital-Collierville. “He is a real asset to our hospital.”
Drumwright received his nursing diploma from the Baptist College of Health Sciences in1994 and his bachelor of science degree in Nursing from Union University in 1998.
Drumwright is a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses.
