Memphis, Tenn., June 21, 2001 - Baptist Memorial Hospital for Women, located at 6225 Humphreys Blvd., will offer free community seminars in the hospital's educational classrooms during the month of July.
The seminars are part of the Dr. Sam P. Patterson Library Seminar Series, which addresses women's health and wellness issues-from discussing stress to reducing the risk of heart disease. Reservations are required and can be made 24 hours a day by calling 1-800-422-7847 or (901) 227-8478.
During July, library visitors who check out any of the center's resources will be automatically entered into a drawing for a free, relaxing one-hour massage by Lei Ann Healy, a licensed massage therapist from Massage Therapy of the Mid-South located at the Women's Hospital.
The Baptist Women's Hospital is the first of its kind in Memphis and one of only about 15 freestanding women's hospitals in the nation.
