Memphis, Tenn., Jan. 15, 2001 - The Baptist Wellness Complex, 80 Humphreys Center, Suite 102, will host a community health fair on Feb. 13 from 2 to 6 p.m.

Free mini-massages and health screenings will be available, including those for cholesterol, blood pressure, glucose, body mass index and bone density. Glaucoma screenings will be offered from 4 to 6 p.m. Health care professionals will be on hand to discuss exercise, heart health, stroke prevention, women's health, nutrition, behavioral health, cancer prevention, diabetes, massage therapy and medication information.

The Baptist Wellness Complex is the Mid-South leader in effective management of wellness and rehabilitation from chronic disease. The professional staff, which includes exercise physiologists, fitness specialists, registered nurses and registered dietitians, develops individualized exercise, nutrition and lifestyle education programs for all patients.

As well as working with individuals with chronic disease, the Baptist Wellness Complex is committed to helping Mid-South residents maintain optimal health. The Wellness Complex houses an exercise facility and offers a number of exercise classes.
