Baptist Behavioral Health Care

Baptist Behavioral Health Care offers complete care for patients facing behavioral and mental health, substance abuse and chemical dependency issues. Our goal is to help people who can benefit from short-term care. Depending on patients’ needs, we can offer inpatient or outpatient services.

Because Baptist Behavioral Health Care is a part of Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle, we can easily arrange consultations with a wide variety of medical specialists if needed. Also, if necessary, our patients can be admitted to the hospital 24 hours a day, seven days a week. All patients admitted for inpatient services are under the care of a psychiatrist, and outpatient counseling services are available by appointment. A staff member assists with admissions and referral procedures.

Services are covered in part or whole by most private insurance policies, as well as by Medicare and Medicaid. Calls regarding admission questions are welcomed.
