CARF Accreditation
What is CARF Accreditation?
Accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities means that you as a patient can feel confident that your facility’s methods are both safe and effective.
CARF offers the highest accreditation a rehabilitation hospital can achieve. Health care facilities accredited by CARF must demonstrate that patients served are benefiting from the facilities’ services. To receive a three-year accreditation, organizations must undergo a rigorous peer review and show a team of surveyors during an on-site visit that the organization is committed to following CARF’s accreditation conditions and standards.
