Memphis Business Journal's Top of the List
Baptist Rehabilitation-Germantown won the Top of the List by the Memphis Business Journal. The award is based upon a facility’s number of employees, number of patients served annually, employee satisfaction, patient satisfaction and outcomes and civic contributions.
West District Brain Injury Association of Tennessee – Giraffe Award
Annually, the West District of the Brain Injury Association of Tennessee presents an award to a medical or rehabilitation staff member who goes the extra mile and “sticks their neck out” to ensure the best of care and support services are provided to brain injury survivors and their families. This individual shows exemplary performance in his or her given field and works to achieve outcomes that exceed expectations.
Criteria for this honor include:
- Positive impact on the brain injured community
- Personal dedication or sacrifice
- Increased patient satisfaction, and
- Creating new, innovative ways to promote successful outcomes.
Through the years Baptist Rehabilitation-Germantown has had multiple staff members receive this award, including Monika Kolwaite, PT; Teresa McGoldrick, RN; Michael Tabb, OT; Ruth Reyes, RN; and Debra Hornberger, RN.
