Community Health Fair at Baptist Union City Baptist Union City phlebotomist Danielle Willcutt drew a blood sample from a participant at the hospital’s community health fair held in celebration of National Hospital Week. Services offered included lab blood chemistry, pulmonary function tests, balance screenings, chair massages, blood pressure checks, height/weight/body mass index, bone density scans, and medication reviews. 
Patti Leeke listened to instruction from physical therapist Andrew Jackson as she took a balance screening test at the community health fair.  
Baptist Union City Safety Champion Baptist Union City is pleased to announce Debbie Powell, RN, as Safety Champion. Safety Champions act as valuable liaisons between staff and managers to identify, address and eliminate potential or real patient safety risks or concerns. Safety Champions are recognized for going above and beyond the call of duty to provide extraordinary patient care. The Safety Champion program’s purposes are to raise staff awareness about patient safety, encourage timely reporting of potential risks and errors affecting patients, and reward staff who advocate for safety.
