Baptist Union City Psychiatrist Receives Honor The American Psychiatric Association recently recognized Dr. Anthony Rich, a psychiatrist at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City, as a distinguished life fellow, the highest honor the profession can bestow. Rich will be officially recognized at the Convocation of Distinguished Fellows. This ceremony will be held during the APA’s annual meeting in San Diego on May 21. Board certified in general and child psychiatry, Rich is a graduate of the University of Michigan Medical School. He has provided mental health and psychiatric care for patients of all ages for 30 years. “Baptist Union City is honored to have Dr. Rich as part of our medical staff. This recognition is indicative of the quality physicians who serve this community,” said Donald Hutson, CEO and administrator for Baptist Union City. Becton received an associate degree in science from Jackson State Community College and resides in Union City with his wife, Elizabeth, and daughter, Julianne.  Top of Page |
