Brad Parsons
administrator and chief executive officer
Brad Parsons became administrator and CEO of Baptist Union City in August 2010. Parsons began his career with Baptist as part of Baptist Golden Triangle's leadership team in 2008 as an assistant administrator. He supervised the hospital's radiology, laboratory, rehabilitation services, behavioral health, oncology, material management, hospice and ambulance services. Before coming to Baptist, Parsons served as assistant vice president Decatur General Hospital in Decatur, Alabama. He was responsible for various hospital support services including plant operations, environmental services, food services, security and all construction projects. Prior to that, Parsons worked with The Valencia Group, a revenue-cycle management consulting firm in Birmingham, Alabama.
A native of Birmingham, Alabama, Parsons earned a bachelor of science degree from Birmingham Southern College and master of science degrees in both hospital administration and business administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Forrest Briggs
assistant administrator
A Columbus, Miss., native, Forrest Briggs graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences and a minor in business administration in 2008. He received a master's degree in health administration from Texas A&M University in 2010. Before coming to Baptist Union City, he worked at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi as an intern during the summer of 2009. During his internship, he assisted in developing a comprehensive strategic plan for breast services that resulted in increased patient volumes, and he also helped develop multidisciplinary teams to improve patient satisfaction.

Cheryl Mink
assistant administrator
Cheryl Mink, a registered nurse, has been at Baptist Union City since 1982. Mink has served in a variety of capacities at the hospital, including operating room supervisor and director of surgery, before assuming her current position. Prior to coming to Baptist, she worked with Obion County General Hospital for 10 years. Mink was in the first class of nurses to graduate from the University of Tennessee at Martin.

Mike Perryman
chief financial officer
Chief financial officer Mike Perryman began his service with the hospital in 1976 as finance director for Obion County General. After the hospital became Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City, Perryman served as assistant administrator from 1989-1993 and administrator and chief executive officer from 1993-2006. Perryman earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting from the University of Tennessee at Martin.

Teresa Vinson
director of quality and review services
Teresa Vinson has been with the hospital since 1969. As the director of quality and review services, she is responsible for organization-wide initiatives including quality improvement, strategic planning and JCAHO accreditation. Vinson oversees health information management, admission, PBX, medical management and medical staff activities. She is a registered health information technician with the American Health Information Management Association.

Lori Brown
chief nursing officer
As chief nursing officer, Lori Brown's responsibilities include managing resources to assure safe nursing practices and patient services, as well as working with the hospital's administrative team on strategic planning activities.
Prior to joining Baptist, Brown served as the chief quality officer for Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin, Tenn.

Nicky Thomas
director of human resources
Nicky Thomas is the director of human resources for Baptist Union City.
Thomas earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Memphis. Before coming to Baptist, she was the director of human resources at Heckethorn Manufacturing in Dyersburg, Tenn.
She resides in Newbern with her husband David and sons Evan and Ty.

Mike Osment
chaplain and director of pastoral care
Mike Osment serves as Baptist Union City’s chaplain and director of pastoral care. Osment provides a ministry of presence and comfort to those in bereavement and crisis situations. Before he was named chaplain and director of pastoral care, Osment was a chaplain at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle in Columbus, Miss. He received his master of divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, N.C.
