The Sleep Disorders Center at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi provides diagnostic services and treatment to patients who show symptoms of a sleep disorder. Baptists Sleep Disorders Center was the first in North Mississippi to earn accreditation from the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. The center is conveniently located adjacent to the Oxford Lung Physicians Clinic and has four hotel-style observation suites.
More than 80 sleep disorders can affect your sleep. Common disorders monitored in the sleep center are obstructive sleep apnea, snoring, periodic limb movements, narcolepsy and insomnia. During your clinic visit, a history of your sleep and sleep habits will be discussed, and you will undergo an exam to determine the need for an overnight sleep study.
Our medical director, Jeffrey N. Evans, M.D., a pulmonologist specializing in sleep medicine, oversees a team of registered polysomnographic technicians. Patients are self- or physician-referred and may call (662) 232-8146 to make a clinic appointment. Sleep studies can be scheduled during the week or on weekends.
Office Hours: Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
