Labor and Delivery
The birthing area of Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi’s Women’s Pavilion comprises six large labor-delivery-recovery rooms, a three-bed triage area, two caesarean-section suites, an obstetrics/gynecological surgical suite premier equipment for both mother, and baby and expanded Level I and II nurseries. The postpartum area is a 22-bed unit designated for female and pediatric patients. The large, comfortable rooms are complete with amenities to meet the specific needs of both women and children. Physicians are board-certified, and nursing staff members are trained according to their specialty areas.
Breastfeeding Resource Center
Lactation specialists are a part of the personal care available to each mom who delivers at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi. Our professional staff can assist new moms with their breastfeeding questions through one-on-one consultation sessions.
Postpartum-breastfeeding consults are available by appointment. For more information please call 662-513-1602.
