Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God. Romans 15:7

elping to ensure the future of health care in our community starts with preparing today’s students for careers in health care. Baptist works with our local schools and higher education institutions to support their efforts to strengthen students’ training in key academic subjects and expose them to diverse career options.
That’s why education continues to be a major focus area of Baptist’s charitable dollars and volunteer hours. Nearly every hospital and business unit in our system has partnered with a local school for which they provide numerous outreach activities. Our colleagues throughout the Baptist Memorial system dedicate numerous hours to the "adopted" school in their community. To make sure students have the tools they need to succeed in school, many of our school partnerships include monetary contributions and fund-raising efforts to support less fortunate students who need school supplies, uniforms or physicals to participate in school athletic activities. Other efforts include job shadowing, free back-to-school health fairs and participation in career days.
All together, our employees’ outreach efforts into our communities’ schools have brought valuable information, education and resources to more than 14,000 students in schools throughout the Mid-South.
In keeping with the three-fold ministry of Christ - preaching, teaching and healing - Baptist Memorial Health Care Corporation will be the leader in providing quality health care.
