Walter J. Grace
administrator and chief executive officer
Walter J. Grace is the administrator and CEO at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union
County. He previously served as administrator and CEO at Baptist Booneville
and as an assistant administrator at Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto, a
position he held from 2003-2010.
Before becoming one of the hospital's assistant administrators, he was the
controller for Baptist DeSoto. He came to Baptist DeSoto after serving as
chief financial officer for
Baptist Memorial
Hospital for Women. Grace joined Baptist Memorial Health Care in 1997
as manager of capital planning. He holds a bachelor's degree in business
administration from the University of Mississippi.

James Grantham
assistant administrator
James Grantham serves as assistant administrator at Baptist Union County,
overseeing food and nutrition, radiology, laboratory, rehabilitation, pharmacy
and respiratory.
James comes from Baptist Collierville, where he served as an assistant
administrator since early 2010. He began his career with Baptist as a medical
technologist in 1998. After pursuing his graduate degree in 2005, Grantham
returned to Baptist as the recipient of the 2009 Frank S. Groner Administrative
Fellowship.
James, a native of Star, Miss., is married and has three children. He
holds a master's degree in health administration from the University of
Memphis and undergraduate degrees in biology and clinical laboratory science
from Belhaven University and the University of Mississippi Medical Center.

Kimberly D. High
chief financial officer/controller
Kimberly D. High is chief financial officer/controller for Baptist Memorial
Hospital-Union County, a position she has held since 1996. She oversees
internal audit, accounting, business office, materials management and information
systems. She also prepares the hospital's yearly budget and coordinates
preparation of audit and cost report schedules. High began her career at
Baptist Memorial Health Care in 1994 as a staff accountant at Baptist Union
County. She served as controller for Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi
from 1995-1996. She received a bachelor's degree in accounting from the
University of Mississippi.

Barbara Owens
administrative director
Barbara Owens has been a Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union County employee
for more than 42 years, serving in a variety of capacities. Her roles have
included coordinating medical staff, quality assurance, case management,
health information management and accreditation. In her position as administrative
director, she oversees the case management and health information management
departments, and continues to be the quality coordinator and accreditation
coordinator for the hospital. Owens earned a degree in business science
from Northeast Community College and holds affiliations in the American
Health Information Management Association and the Mississippi Health Information
Association, as well as the National Association of Quality Professionals.

Lori
N. Goode
director of human resources
Lori N. Goode is the director of human resources for Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union
County. She provides a full range of human resources services by interpreting
policy, sharing information and providing timely counsel to managers and
employees. She manages recruitment, employee benefit packages, the annual
performance review process and the hospital's compensation plan. She oversees
employee health and day-to-day operations of the human resources department.
She holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University
of Mississippi.

Nancy C. Kidd
director of marketing/physician relations
Nancy C. Kidd is director of marketing/physician relations for Baptist Memorial
Hospital-Union County. She is responsible for the hospital's strategic marketing,
special events, creative marketing campaigns, media relations, physician
relations and physician recruitment. Kidd received a bachelor's degree in
business administration and marketing from the University of Mississippi.
She has received numerous awards, including Top 50 Leading Businesswomen
in Mississippi from the Mississippi Business Journal and the New Albany
Gazette Reader's Choice Award for Best Professional Female. She is a graduate
of Leadership Mississippi. |
