Daily Bread

The Baptist Ambulatory Centre, located within the Baptist Heart Institute on the Baptist Memphis campus, is the entry point for all patients coming to the hospital for heart catheterizations. Patients will check in and complete admissions paperwork in the Baptist Ambulatory Centre and go from there to the pre/post-cath unit located on the concourse level of the Heart Institute.

One family member may accompany patients to the pre/post-cath unit to receive updates during the cath procedure. Once the procedure is completed, the patient will return to the pre/post cath unit for recovery. Patients’ physicians will determine if patients may be discharged home or remain in the hospital overnight.

Family or friends who want to talk with a patient’s family may contact the Baptist Ambulatory Centre at (901) 226-1900.
